Created and legalized in 2023 with BOTF support. 2024: Federates 69 Bwiti Missoko temples / 2,760 members. National tour to document and unify temples (bottom-up approach).
Support to Babongo Pygmy communities
Renovation of houses (10 in 2023 → 26 total by 2024). Purchase of 5 hectares of forest for agroforestry project.
Music & arts
Unique BOTF–Ozavino–GStore Media partnership: first traditional music album produced and released (harpist Dindendi). Local crafts supported through income-generating activities (IGA).
Documentaries & films
BOTF partner/supporter of films and documentaries on Bwiti culture and forests (e.g., The Guardians of the Forest). 8 audiovisual reports produced and broadcast on YouTube in 2024.
Impact 2023–2024
Institutionalization and recognition of the Bwiti Missoko rite. National/international dissemination of Gabonese music and culture. Strengthened cultural pride and intergenerational transmission (TikTok BOTF).
