Scheduled participation at Psychedelic Sciences 2025 (Denver). Development of a museum project in Cancún to highlight Gabonese heritage. Articles in international press (National Geographic).

Global awareness

Global debate on iboga sovereignty and traditional knowledge. Intercultural dialogue (between North/South, researchers/traditional healers).

Impact 2023–2024

Gabon recognized as a central actor in the iboga debate. Traditional knowledge showcased in international institutions. Stronger alliances with NGOs, scientists, and global decision-makers.

BOTF has been accredited by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) Traditional Knowledge Division as an observer for the sessions of the Intergovernmental Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge, and Folklore (IGC 49).
