Indigenous Medicine Conservation Fund ( IMCF)
The Indigenous Medicine Conservation Fund (IMCF) is an Indigenous-led philanthropic organization dedicated to protecting the traditional plant medicines, knowledge, and cultures of Indigenous peoples around the world, particularly in Africa and the Americas. IMCF supports Indigenous communities in efforts to conserve five “keystone biocultures”: ayahuasca, iboga, mushrooms, peyote, and toad, which are at risk due to commercial exploitation, poaching, and environmental threats.

Terragnosis
Terragnosis is a Canadian drug development company focused on producing ethically sourced and high-quality iboga and ibogaine extracts, with an emphasis on sustainability and reciprocity for Indigenous communities in Gabon and Central Africa. The organization developed IBEX011, the first iboga extract to comply with the Nagoya Protocol—a United Nations framework that ensures fair benefit-sharing for communities holding traditional knowledge about iboga, particularly the Bwiti practitioners of Gabon

Ebando
Ebando village in Gabon is the home base for the NGO Association Nature Culture Ebando (ANCE), an organization dedicated to preserving, transmitting, and celebrating the natural and intangible cultural heritage of Gabon and Central Africa. Ebando focuses on the transmission of traditional knowledge, Bwiti initiations and rituals (notably with the sacred wood iboga), the conservation of forest ecologies, and intercultural exchanges between local communities and visitors.

It functions as a council bringing together practitioners from the main families of the Bwiti Missoko rite in its various ancestral branches, promoting awareness of Gabon's rich heritage and advocating for the rights and recognition of traditional knowledge holders

Space for Giants is an international conservation organization dedicated to protecting Africa's remaining natural ecosystems, especially the habitats of large wild animals like elephants, while promoting their social, economic, and ecological value for local communities and nations. Founded in 2011 and operating across 9 to 10 African countries including Gabon, Kenya, Uganda, and others, the organization focuses on landscape conservation, human-wildlife coexistence, and combating wildlife crime through law and justice programs.

Space For Giants
Conservation Justice is a Belgian-founded NGO primarily active in Gabon, dedicated to combating environmental crime—especially wildlife trafficking and illegal logging—while protecting African wildlife and forests with strong community involvement. The organization is a founding member of the EAGLE Network and collaborates closely with Gabonese authorities to enhance enforcement and develop sustainable, legal management of natural resources.

Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Spain, ICEERS works globally to address critical issues arising from the globalization of these plants while promoting their safe and responsible use in therapeutic and cultural contexts.

ANPN-National Parks Agency of Gabon
The National Parks Agency of Gabon (Agence Nationale des Parcs Nationaux - ANPN) is the government authority responsible for managing and protecting Gabon's national park system, which covers over 11% of the country's territory, including significant terrestrial and marine areas. Established by law in 2007, ANPN oversees park policing, maintenance, biodiversity conservation, scientific research, tourism promotion, and enforcement of environmental regulations.
